SOCK were formed in a small town in 1990, always unpredictable and flamboyant, they reigned supreme for two years before dispersing to the four corners of the world to pursue their individual dreams. After 22 years, the band reformed for a one-off gig that coincided with singer Guy adopting the on-stage persona of glam rock-god, Vince Venus and gaining international fame as the (unofficial) winner of Britain’s Got Talent in 2015. The rest of the band followed suit and have emerged as a group of misfit superhero’s, on a mission to save the world. SOCK return to their spiritual home for a one-off appearance in Brighton, which is guaranteed to be the best night of your life.
COWZ are a Brighton-based queer alt-pop duo with music that can only be described as “girl’s girl music with violent and political undertones”. COWZ were founded 3 years ago by Saga Wahlström and Tasha Bloom, and their rapid rise to the top of alternative music is nothing less than overwhelmingly impressive. With a debut EP hitting over 100,000 streams within 3 months of release, DORK’s pick for Y NOT festival 2024 and Radio 6 play of their hit single ‘DOMINATION’, a COWZ set is not one you want to miss.
