Underground Disco outfit PAYFONE come to Brighton for a venue takeover, bringing to the stage a mix of DJ and live performance.

The London / Brighton / Barcelona based electronic music collective blend disco, boogie and funk, creating original soundscapes of live instrumentation and song writing, without sampling those who went before them.

Led by Phil Passera and Jimmy Day, with a catalogue of releases on influential labels such as Leng / Defected and New York's Golf Channel Records, the PAYFONE sound fuses Balearic beats, 80s boogie, and proto-house with deep soul and ear worm melodies.

Since their acclaimed vinyl debut in 2013 "International Smark", PAYFONE has consistently captivated audiences worldwide with shows across Europe, USA and South America.

Their dedication to using live instrumentation, classic electronic hardware and provoking lyrics sets them apart from others in the electronic music field,attracting support from underground legends far and wide including the late Andy Weatherall, DJ Harvey, Roisin Murphy and Massive Attack's Daddy G.

For this live tour, PAYFONE will be joined by North Carolina's Jo Harris and Brooklyn's April Pittman on Bass and Vocal duties respectively
